Who writes and reviews this content

Treatment pages and articles on this site are written by Sedef Özdemir, our Digital Marketing & Content Specialist, and medically reviewed by Dr. Mine Helvacıoğlu Özkardeş, a practicing prosthodontist at Dentavivo. Both are named, real members of our team, not anonymous or outsourced writers, and both have their own profile pages linked above so you can check their background directly.

We have a commercial interest, and we say so

Dentavivo is a dental clinic, and this website exists partly to bring in patients. We're not going to pretend otherwise. Where a page discusses a treatment we offer, that's a service we'd be glad to provide, not neutral third-party research. We try to offset that with clear disclaimers, honest information about how pricing and candidacy actually work, and by pointing you to independent, verifiable sources rather than dressing up marketing claims as clinical fact.

What we base our content on

Where possible, treatment pages link out to recognised dental associations, academic institutions, and clinical bodies (for example the American Dental Association, the International Team for Implantology, and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research) rather than asking you to take our word for it. General information about how a procedure works, what it typically involves, and what recovery looks like reflects widely accepted dental practice, not outcomes specific to any one patient. We do not publish clinic-specific success rates, patient statistics, or outcome data that hasn't been verified.

What we won't publish

• Guaranteed or exaggerated treatment outcomes.
• Doctor names, qualifications, or experience that haven't been verified.
• Reviews, ratings, or testimonials we've written ourselves and presented as coming from patients.
• Prices or statistics we can't trace back to a real source.
• Medical claims that go beyond general information and into individual diagnosis, which only a dentist can properly give after an examination.

How often we review content

Clinical content is reviewed by Dr. Mine Helvacıoğlu Özkardeş, and treatment pages display the date they were last reviewed. We update pages when treatment information changes, when pricing changes, or when something is flagged to us as inaccurate or out of date, rather than on a fixed schedule regardless of whether anything has actually changed.

Real patient reviews

Where we reference patient reviews, we link to our independent Trustpilot profile rather than curating quotes on our own site, so you can read them in context, including any critical ones, and verify they're genuine.
