This page explains what personal information Dentavivo collects through dentavivo.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have about it. It applies to this website, not to any treatment or medical records created once you become a patient, which are handled separately as part of your clinical care.
Who we are
Dentavivo is a dental clinic based at Teşvikiye, Hakkı Yeten Cd. Aşçıoğlu Plaza No:17 D:22, 34394 Şişli/İstanbul, Turkey. For any question about this policy or your personal information, contact us at smile@dentavivo.com.
What we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us. Through the contact form on this site, that's typically your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, the treatment you're interested in, and whatever you write in your message, including dental photos or X-rays if you decide to attach them. If you contact us directly by WhatsApp, email, or Instagram instead of the form, we receive whatever information is included in that conversation.
This site does not currently run advertising or analytics tracking scripts, and we don't use cookies to build an advertising profile of visitors. Basic technical logs (like the kind any web server or hosting provider keeps to keep a site running securely) may be generated automatically, but these aren't used to identify you personally.
How we use it
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, prepare a personalised treatment quote, and communicate with you about your case if you decide to proceed. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for purposes unrelated to responding to you and, where applicable, coordinating your treatment.
Who we share it with
Our contact form is processed by HubSpot, our marketing platform, so your submission passes through their infrastructure to reach our team. If you contact us via WhatsApp, Instagram, or email, those messages are subject to the respective privacy practices of Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram) or your email provider. Links on this site to Google Maps or Trustpilot take you to services operated by Google and Trustpilot, each governed by their own privacy policy once you're on their site. We don't otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and treatment-related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, provide treatment-related communication, and meet any legal or record-keeping obligations that apply to a healthcare provider. If you'd like us to delete information we hold about you and there's no legal reason we need to keep it, contact us and we'll act on that request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, to object to certain uses of it, or to ask for a copy of it. To exercise any of these, email smile@dentavivo.com and we'll respond as soon as we can.
International patients
Dentavivo treats patients travelling from many countries, so personal information shared with us may be processed in Turkey regardless of where you're contacting us from. By submitting your information, you understand it will be handled in Turkey under the practices described here.
Children
This website and its contact form are intended for adults arranging their own dental treatment or that of a dependant. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We'd encourage you to check back occasionally, particularly before submitting new personal information through the site.
